Every other year, the Eightmile River Watershed council puts on a “Riverfest” at Devil’s Hopyard State Park. Beginning with the first celebration of the Eightmile watershed becoming a natl. scenic watershed, our Eight Mile River Band has been providing Bluegrass music for every event they’ve had…after all. it only seems appropriate ! lol It’s a great outdoor venue with lots of nature and conservation presentations with good food, good music, and activities like hiking and photography all in a scenic Fall woodland and river environment. This year’s Riverfest will be held from 1:00pm til 4:00pm on Sat., Oct. 18th at Devil’s Hopyard State Park on the lawn by the Pavilion below Chapman Falls. C’mon out for a great day of music and outdoor enjoyment.
